Many times, experienced adjusters have the knowledge and expertise to determine the cause of a loss without 3rd party assistance, but due to the perception of “being the inside man”, claimants are naturally suspicious.   I-ENG-A of The Tristate Area, offers the services of a Professional Engineer, or an experienced technician, to offer an independent opinion of the claim.  Often these investigations are cost effective, due to a relatively low fee, and the alleviation of “fears”, of the claimant, by giving them the opportunity to ask questions & “air-out” their concerns to a 3rd party.   In other claims, the cause of a fire, or origin of the water is more complicated, and cannot be determined without additional expert analysis. Our decades of experience in building design gives I-ENG-A of The Tristate Area, a unique view and position in the industry of having a deep knowledge of codes, building practices, materials, and the “know-how” of  how buildings react to certain stress, such as wind loads. For partially damaged buildings, we offer practical opinions for the possibility of salvage, including the economical knowledge of costs for repair versus a total loss.  Very few of our competitors can offer these in house services.
